Reflection On 3rd GRACE Lesson

During the 3rd lesson of GRACE, Mr Chew told us that we will miss our next lesson due to Chinese New Year. Because of this, he wanted us to come out with a draft of our final report. This draft will be the marks for the 3 lessons that we had attented. Although time is not much, I hope that I can get it done on time as it is part of the result that I will get from this project. After he have looked at our draft, he will want us to touch up on it.

third grace lesson

We have decide on our topic and it is solar boat, in the class teacher let us have enough time to do our research and he want to see our draft posted on the blog. Mr chew also show us the final draft and we have a better understanding on it. Unfortunately we will miss one lesson due to the chinese new year, and I hoped that we can finish up the draft during that period. Lastly he also warm us that IPW lesson will affect our SA1 mark if we did not do well, I hope i can do a good job.

Term 1 Week 3 GRACE Lesson

Today's lesson was a pretty smooth one as we have most of the time to continue on our draft. As we would be missing next's week lesson due to Chinese New Year, our teacher told us that he want the rough draft by this Friday 23rd January 2009 so that we would still have time to touch up on those that we think are not good enough. Today was one of our best lesson as we have more time to do our research. The teacher also show us the format of how our final draft should be like so that we can start earlier and would be able to get an idea of what the final draft should be like. As he did not want to waste our time, he told us to try to finish it before Chinese New Year as by that time, we would not have a lot of time to do it. The teacher also told us to start thinking about the survey question as that is also part of the final draft which will affect how we fare after the whole project. Lastly, the teacher also say that every component of the project is very important.

Reflection On 2nd GRACE Lesson

Mr Chew told us to brainstorm on our idea last week. When we came for this lesson, he told us that it is very difficult to come out with products from our ideas. So we came out with a new idea. We decided to work on a solor-powered motor boat. Mr Chew told us that we had to do a lot of research like how does the solor cells work and so on. I hope that we can succed in making the boat.

Second lesson of grace

It is the second lesson of grace and Mr chew tell us that we need to choice a topic for our project work, we discuss very long and we still can not decide what we want to do for our topic. I hope our group members can decide on their topic.

Second G.R.A.C.E Lesson

Today Mr Chew told us to choose an idea from the ideas we had came up with the past week. Although much of my ideas were kind of impossible to do, we decided to use a Solar-Powered Motor Toyboat to show people that Solar Energy is actually much more efficient and somehow "Greener" than burning fuel as it pollutes the air and wastes the natural fossils which are hard to form. We can also prove to people that Solar Energy can be used for many things such as Toy Boats, Toy Cars, Solar Powered Cars, Solar powered Lamps, etc. Today's Grace lesson taught me that there's much Research thats to be done just to create a product, such as finding out how to connect the wires to the motor of the toy, finding out where to buy the motor, etc. It also told me that each of the members have a part to play, and we needed teamwork to get this project done.  

Second GRACE Lesson

During the lesson, the teacher told us to think of an idea and brainstorm on it as the amount of time remaining is getting lesser and lesser as each day pass by. Through this lesson, i found out that the project is not as easy as i think as it requires a lot of brainstorming and research and doing the research requires a lot of time and that is the reason why it is the most important part of the project. Other than that the teacher told us to come out with a rough idea of what we want to do. The teacher showed us the overview of the whole GRACE project and the reason why he showed us that is to emphasize that there are not much time left.

Reflection On 1st GRACE Lesson

First GRACE Lesson

For the first IPW lesson, i felt excited. The teacher told us to do research on Global Warming. I was also nervous as it will affect our result for Sec 2. We were also told to think about a topic which we want to do on. Although it is such a short period, i learn many things from it. To me i think finishing the project requires a lot of time so the teacher told us to finish it as soon as possible as there are not much time left excluding the examination period. After hearing what the teacher say, then i found out the importance of this project.    

Reflection On Grace Lesson

Well, today's GRACE lesson was rather focussed onto the reasons we were doing this GRACE project. Mr Chew told us that in order for us to PASS this project, we had to do the work we were assigned as the points are divided indivisually. I'm glad MSHS organised this project to help pull our results up so that we would'nt repeat Sec 2. I guess I have to TAKE PART fully in this project as it will be graded my report book and so it could pull my results up instead of bring it down.

it is the first day of the lesson(grace) and the teacher have told us that we need to be very serious in our work and it will affect our result if we did not done well. So i hope i can done well in this subject
